Adoption

The core concept of Kitty Kat Haven is to facilitate the needs of local adult felines in the Lewis County. Thanks to the community support, our cats are housed in a cage-free environment that is equipped with lots of safe places to rest and sleep, have human interaction, play with colorful toys, and roam around the outside cat enclosure. This is better for both cats and people because it is more natural.

Adoption:

Kitty Kat Haven is a no-kill adult only rescue. Our cats are cared for in loving environments until they can find their forever homes.
We would love to assist with every cat in Lewis County that has been abandoned or needs to be re-homed, but unfortunately our resources are limited. We are currently focusing on adult cats and cats with special needs, they have a difficult time getting adopted out in a high intake shelter and some rescues don’t have to resources to care for them.

Here is a list of our intake requirements, click link : Intake requirements

When they are adopted, Kitty Kat Haven cats come with an adoption folder specific to each cat. Each cat has also received the following care; a wellness check by a local vet, given any medical care needed, vaccinations, spayed /neutered, tested for FIV /FeLV, wormed, micro-chipped and treated for fleas.
